1. Who we are

Mosaic is made by Caner Atik (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@mosaicanvas.com. These terms are an agreement between you and us about the Mosaic app, its Chrome extension (Mosaic Bridge) and this website. By installing or using Mosaic you accept them.

2. Using Mosaic

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Mosaic on your own computers, under these terms. The app, its design and its name stay ours. Please don't sell or redistribute Mosaic, and don't modify it or take it apart to get around its license checks or plan limits.

3. The free plan

Mosaic is free to use, without an account, for boards of up to 3 people. The free plan includes files and shared folders between computers, live pages, voice and chat, private pages, the local network and the desk objects.

4. Mosaic Team

• One payment. Mosaic Team is sold as a one-time purchase of a license key. It isn't a subscription.
• What it unlocks. Boards you create hold up to 15 people, and you can use AI agents with your own API keys and MCP services.
• Two computers. A key is for one person and works on up to two of their computers at a time. You can move it by removing a computer from the key, in Mosaic or in your customer portal.
• A year of updates. Your purchase includes the updates we release in the year after you buy. The versions you received keep working after that year.
• Checking the key. Mosaic confirms the key with our payment provider when you activate it and about once a day after that. If it can't reach it for 30 days in a row, Team features pause until it can. Your boards and files are never affected.
• Refunds. See our refund policy. A refunded key stops working.

5. Payment

Purchases are handled by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT that applies, emails your receipt, and keeps your license key in your customer portal. Polar's own terms apply to the purchase. Prices are in US dollars.

6. Your boards, your responsibility

Mosaic works peer to peer: a board lives on the computers of the people on it, and files travel directly between them. We don't store, see or moderate what's on your boards. You're responsible for what you put on a board and for who you invite. Please don't use Mosaic to break the law, to share things you don't have the right to share, or to harm anyone.

7. Websites and apps on your board

A web node shows a real website, loaded on its owner's computer and signed in as them. That website's own terms apply to how you use it, and some services limit showing their pages to other people. You're responsible for following them. Mark a page private if others shouldn't see it.

8. AI agents

Agents are optional and use your own API keys with the provider you choose (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google). Your provider's terms and fees apply. Agents can be wrong, so check what they write before you rely on it.

9. Mosaic Bridge

Mosaic Bridge is an optional Chrome extension that lets tabs from your own Chrome appear on your board and finishes sign-ins that need Chrome. It works only together with the Mosaic app on the same computer.

10. No warranty

We work hard to make Mosaic reliable, but it's provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Connections between computers depend on networks and public services we don't run, and we can't promise Mosaic will always be available, error-free or right for your purpose. Your boards and files live on your computers, so keep backups of anything important.

11. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or business. Our total liability for any claim about Mosaic is limited to what you paid us for Mosaic in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as Mosaic changes. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll say so on this site. Changes never take away a license you've already paid for.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protections that the law of the country where you live gives you.
